Dennis Danté Yancey arrived in this world, on September 14th, 2003 ,in Austin, Texas and transitioned to his next existence, on April 18th, 2024 in The Colony, Texas
Danté enjoyed his childhood and teen years in both Austin and The Colony, traveling often to see his large, extended family. His sense of fun and fearless spirit put him at ease with himself and those around him, and he had a gift for making friends and keeping them close. Never one to be held back from an adventure, Danté enthusiastically planned, then travelled solo to Vietnam in the summer after high school.
Danté played football during his school years and had great potential in the sport. He chose to focus on his studies once he had enrolled in The University of Texas at Arlington, where he studied nursing, and was on track to become a nurse anesthetist, a career choice led by his generous and caring spirit. Danté had a special bond with each person who knew him and made everyone feel special and loved. He lived well and led a truly good life for his entire time on earth. Danté made the world a more beautiful and joyous place.
